This year, I decided to tone things down in the week leading up to Good Friday and Easter Sunday, and tried to focus on the real significance of Holy week. As with Christmas, where the commercial world has over-shadowed the true meaning of Christ’s birth, Easter has also started to become more about eggs and bunnies.
#4 came home with this beautiful floral arrangement which she made in school, and it was an apt reminder of the spirit of Easter, symbolising the miracle of life, new beginnings, beauty, celebration and immense joy.
